Recently I started learning another art form- digital art. Digital art, like traditional art, has many challenges, but the advantage of creating preliminary designs that can be adjusted without wasting paint and time is very useful to my business.
For example, for January's Kicks of the Month, I was able to test out two versions of a similar design without using a pair of shoes.
Another client requested a pair of Harry Potter themed shoes. I created this design first, but the client wanted colored designs, with some changes to the motifs.
Because the shoe was a unique color, being able to erase one design (instead of having to mix the specific color to cover up my mistakes) made it easier and faster to change the design to something the client liked better.
